  • 13-Year-Old Self-Made Millionaire Alina Morse Tops Amazon List with Healthy Lollipops

13-Year-Old Self-Made Millionaire Alina Morse Tops Amazon List with Healthy Lollipops

13-year-old Alina Morse is not your typical acne-face-filled teenager. She is a self-made millionaire who created a healthy lollipops brand that has seen her rise to become one of Amazon’s top sellers this year.

When I was 13 years old, like most adolescents, I could barely tell my armpit from my elbow and struggled to function as a human being. Alina truly breaks the mold.

Life Doesn’t Suck for Teenage Self-Made Millionaire

Alina was already thinking like an entrepreneur when she was just 7 years old. At the time, her father took her to the bank where the teller offered her a lollipop. She pondered on the sweet sticky stick for a while and had a brainwave and asked dad:

“Why can’t we make a healthy lollipop that’s good for me so I can have candy and it won’t be bad for me?”

Definitely not the normal thinking of a child!

That visit to the bank changed her life forever. She went on to create one of the most popular lollipop brands in America called Zollipops. This brand of lollipops are sugar-free and are actually good for your teeth as opposed to obliterating them like standard lollipops.

    Taking Top Spot on Amazon

In the week leading up to Halloween, Zollipops became the number-1 seller on Amazon for both standard lollipops and sugar-free lollipops. Sales of Zollipop outsold major brands such as Blow Pop, Tootsie, and Dum Dums over the lead-up to the ghoulish festive period.

When talking about the success of Zollipops over the past few weeks, the teenage entrepreneur Alina said:

“It was very exciting because obviously, online shopping is so popular. Obviously, Amazon is the leading online retailer. It was really exciting to produce something we use in our everyday lives.”

The method for finding the right ingredients for Zollipops was straightforward as you would expect from a child. She went online to find out what would be good for people’s teeth that also tasted good. Simple is always the best way. Less is more. She even went as far as talking to a local dentist to get some valuable advice.

They found the right ingredients and took them to a factory where they ran some trials and concocted the recipe as it is today. You can buy Zollipops in a variety of flavors that include grape, strawberry, orange, natural peppermint, raspberry, cherry, and pineapple.

Alina’s Zollipops can be found not only Amazon but also in Walmart and Kroger. It is believed that before the year is finished, Alina Morse will clear $6 million in sales. This is a self-made millionaire that is sassy, smart and sweet, without the sugar.

  • New Apple MacBook Air Is the Greenest Apple Ever

New Apple MacBook Air Is the Greenest Apple Ever

The new Apple MacBook Air has just been launched and is supposedly the ‘greenest’ Apple in the company’s history. When an Apple dropped, it used to be something in relation to Isaac Newton’s laws of gravity, but not in this day and age.

Apple has launched their new MacBook Air, new Mac Mini and iPad Pro in Brooklyn, New York. The Silicon Valley company is pulling out the stops in the run-up to the Christmas festive season with the launch and revamp of some top-notch products.

Introducing the New Apple MacBook Air

The new Apple MacBook Air is being lauded as the greenest Apple in history, using “100% recycled aluminum” that gives the product a lighter body and a thinner exterior. This is the first significant MacBook upgrade since 2015. Alongside the sleeker appearance, the product has a new 13.3-inch Retina Display.

    MacBook-Air-Retina-Display-10302018_inline.jpg.large

The elegant MacBook Air laptop has a myriad of new features such as an Apple Touch ID fingerprint scanner, a new butterfly keyboard, a FaceTime HD camera, a Force Touch trackpad and 2x Thunderbolt 3 ports that will aid greater connectivity.

These features will complement other upgrades that include macOS Mojave with its Dark Mode and lots of newly designed apps in the Mac App Store.

Here is a list of the specs of the new Apple MacBook Air:

    • 8th-gen Intel dual-core i5 processor
    • 8GB or 16GB 2,133MHz memory
    • 128GB, 256GB, 512GB or 1.5TB SSD
    • 13.3-inch 2560×1600-pixel resolution display
    • 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2

The Launch of the New Mini Mac & iPad Pro

When it comes to Apple’s smallest desktop, the Mini Mac is being updated for the first time since 2014. The new update includes 4 and 6-core Intel processors, 4x Thunderbolt ports that bring the product up to speed, and 68GB of RAM.

    MacBook-Air-Touch-ID-screen-10302018_inline.jpg.large

The iPad Pro has also been waiting since 2015 to get an update, which is now happening. The upgraded iPad Pro enjoys a new all-screen display and is 11-inches in size, which pretty much has a similar body to the earlier 10.5-inch version.

The tablet has the Apple Face ID recognition system, USB-C ports and a cool new Apple Pencil that is ideal for those budding artists amongst us. It also comes with an A12x Bionic Chip which is apparently 90% quicker than the previous version and supposedly 92% quicker than all the mobile PCs sold last year.

Where and How to Buy the New MacBook Air

Prices for the new MacBook Air start from $1,199 and can be ordered directly from Apple’s official website. However, you will not be able to buy one at Apple Authorized Resellers and Apple Stores until November 7.

  • Is $245 Million Bel-Air Vineyard America’s Most Expensive House?

Is $245 Million Bel-Air Vineyard America’s Most Expensive House?

A Bel-Air vineyard formally owned by late-billionaire A. Jerrold Perenchio has been listed for sale and could become America’s most expensive house.

The mansion is set over a massive 25,000-square-foot and has been recently listed for sale with the whopping price tag of $245 million.

    From Deserted to Decadent

Back in the 1990s, when you saw that a house was selling for more than $5 million, it would make you wonder how someone could pay so much for some bricks and mortar. Times have changed. In this day and age, $5 mill in LA is a cheapskate price for a luxury yacht, never mind a house in Bel-Air.

The construction of the breathtaking mansion in Bel-Air was commissioned by civil engineer Lynn Atkinson back in the 1930s and was built by the architect Summer Spaulding. They never moved into the French Neoclassical mansion and the house remained empty until the 1940s and was then bought by a hotelier named Arnold Kirkeby.

The late Univision billionaire A. Jerrold Perenchio who died last year at the ripe age of 86 then purchased the house from Kirkeby for an undisclosed fee and continued to add acres to the estate little by little. Perenchio was only the third person to own the house.

    Potentially America’s Most Expensive House

The stunning palatial 25,000-square-foot limestone-clad mansion evokes the feeling of 18th-century chateau charm and basks in its 10-acre estate.

Coming equipped with a glitzy ballroom, a 12,000 bottle wine cellar, a 5-bedroom guesthouse, a 75-foot swimming pool and pool house, a formal salon, tennis courts and a 40-car parking lot, this property is expected to set the Los Angeles real estate market alight.

The property could well become America’s most expensive house with a price tag of $245 million.

If purchased, the price will massively surpass the current most expensive house in Los Angeles Country, which is held by natural gas billionaire Michael Smith. His beach house was formally owned by the Hard Rock Café founder Peter Morgan, which he bought for a staggering $110 million back in April.

The current most expensive home in the UK was recently sold for $210 million in one of the swankiest parts of London. If the $245-million sale of the Bel-Air mansion goes through, it will break all records and become America’s most expensive house.

  • Leicester City Owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Confirmed Dead in Helicopter Crash

Leicester City Owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Confirmed Dead in Helicopter Crash

It has now been confirmed that Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was one of the five who died in the tragic helicopter crash outside the club’s stadium on Saturday night.

As news swept across the internet late on Saturday evening and early Sunday morning that the Thai billionaire’s helicopter had crashed just meters from the stadium, the football world held their collective breaths. It seems that everyone’s worst fears were true.

Tragic Death of Thai King Power Billionaire

Known for his acts of generosity towards Leicester City fans and his philanthropy in his beloved home nation of Thailand, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was more than just the billionaire owner of the King Power empire.

The outpouring of grief across the UK and especially the tributes outside Leicester City’s ‘King Power’ Stadium show how much the club’s owner meant to the people of Leicester.

If you’re a football fan, nobody will ever forget the groundbreaking achievement of Leicester City winning the English Premier League in 2016 against the 5,000 to 1 odds. It’s one of the most unlikely rags-to-riches success stories in sports history.

Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha took over the club in 2010 and immediately eradicated the club’s $130 million debt. He steadied the ship at Leicester and helped the club achieve unbridled success.

Srivaddhanaprabha was worth a reported $4.9 billion, which he made from his King Power empire of duty-free shops.

    Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Confirmed Dead

Over the duration of Saturday evening and most of Sunday, it was still unconfirmed whether Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha had died, although it had been confirmed by sources close to his family that he was one of the five people on board the helicopter.

As reported by staff at Leicester City football club, they had seen Srivaddhanaprabha get on board his helicopter as usual in the middle of the pitch just 45-minutes after the club played to a 1-1 draw against West Ham United on Saturday evening.

The helicopter was bound for Luton Airport where the Thai billionaire was to board a private jet back to Bangkok. Unfortunately, the Leicester City CEO never made it.

Eyewitness reports say that a grinding noise was coming from the helicopter as it left the stadium above the car park. It apparently dropped like a stone and burst into flames just meters from the stadium.

Leicester City released a statement late on Sunday confirming their beloved boss’ death:

“It is with the deepest regret and a collective broken heart that we confirm our chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, was among those to have tragically lost their lives on Saturday evening when a helicopter carrying him and four other people crashed outside King Power Stadium. None of the five people on-board survived.”

The four other people who were on board with Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha were Nursara Suknamai, Punpare, pilot Eric Swaffer, and a passenger named Izabela Roza Lechowicz.

  • 2 Lucky Winners Scoop a Share of the $687.8 Million Powerball Jackpot

2 Lucky Winners Scoop a Share of the $687.8 Million Powerball Jackpot

Imagine waking up on Sunday morning to find out that you’re over $300 million richer! That’s what happened to two lucky winners of Saturday night’s $687.8 million Powerball jackpot.

Some people are born lucky while others not so much. Saturday night’s $687.8 million Powerball jackpot was the third-largest prize in the history of the game. Some people are saying that they would not like to be the ones paying the tax bill on the prize. However, that sounds like a rich person’s problem to us.

    21 Weeks Without Powerball Jackpot

It had been 21 weeks with no Powerball jackpot winners but, ironically enough, two tickets scooped the jackpot prize on Saturday night. The winning numbers were 8, 12, 13, 19 and 27, with a Powerball of 4.

Let’s put this into perspective by saying that a chance of winning the jackpot was 1 in 292 million, which takes the phrase “1 in a million” to new heights.

One of the winning tickets was purchased in New York while the second one was picked up in Iowa. But of course, after tax, the winnings will be significantly less than $343 million apiece. The feds will automatically withhold 24% of the winnings for tax purposes.

They can choose whether to take their winnings as a lump sum or on a yearly basis spread out over 30-years. Either way, the feds, and the state will take their share in taxes as usual.

    Big Week for American Lotteries

The news of Saturday’s Powerball jackpot windfall put the final touches on a big week for the American lottery industry. Only last Tuesday, a single ticket won the $1.537 billion Mega Millions jackpot, which vastly dwarfs Saturday’s prize, which was close to becoming the highest jackpot prize in US history.

The odds for winning the Mega Millions jackpot last week were 302.5 to 1, as the last person to win the prize was way back on July 24. Initial reports believed that last week’s Mega Millions prize was going to become the richest pot in US history but it just missed out.

The largest lottery jackpot ever was back in 2016 when the Powerball Lottery reached a stunning $1.58 billion, and although last weeks’ came close to setting a new record, is anyone arguing over a $20 million deficit? Not the winning ticket holders, that’s for sure.

  • Rockstar’s Wild West Extravaganza Red Dead Redemption 2 Out Today

Rockstar’s Wild West Extravaganza Red Dead Redemption 2 Out Today

If you pre-ordered Rockstar Games’ eagerly-awaited Red Dead Redemption 2, you’re probably pre-loading it right now. The launch of the open world cowboy shoot ’em up is big news in the gaming world and could become Rockstar’s second biggest game ever after GTA 5.

When Rockstar Games first launched GTA 5 they changed the gaming landscape forever. This time, it’s dangerous saloons, rocky mountain outcrops, and developing dusty cowboy towns in the middle of the desert.

Early Response to Red Dead Redemption 2

If you already have your copy of Red Dead Redemption 2, you can go live at 12 AM EST on October 26. The game has a lot to live up to as early reviews have highly touted the game as one of the biggest and best releases in 2018.

The game is being released on both PS4 and Xbox ONE and is being lauded for its gritty realness and its authentic soiree back into the chaotic times of the wild west.

The graphics and attention to detail are apparently incredible. But what do you expect from a gaming company that gave the GTA franchise to the world?

It seems that Rockstar has lived up to the hype once again.

The game’s leading protagonists are Arthur Morgan and his Dutch van der Linde gang, which includes the star of the original Red Dead Redemption game, John Marston. We follow the trials and tribulations of the gang through thick and thin, through one spectacular scene after another.

    Positive Reviews from Critics

Rockstar Games is very similar to Dr. Dre as they only put their name to a very small number of projects. And when they do, it’s usually something spectacular and groundbreaking that nudges the needle of popular culture.

Approximately 2,000 people were involved in the creation of Red Dead Redemption 2, making it a landmark game for the industry. At this moment, the reviews from critics are extremely favorable. While reviewing the game, Keza MacDonald from The Guardian newspaper said:

“There can be no doubt that this is a landmark game. It is a new high water-mark for lifelike video game worlds, certainly, but that world is also home to a narrative portrait of the wild west that is unexpectedly sombre and not afraid to take its time.”

The general consensus is that Red Dead Redemption 2 is about to take the gaming world hostage with a pistol in one hand, a bottle of whiskey in the other, and a stick of dynamite between its teeth. Happy gun-slinging!

  • From Vacuum Cleaners to Electric Cars, James Dyson Moves to Singapore

From Vacuum Cleaners to Electric Cars, James Dyson Moves to Singapore

Life is like a vacuum cleaner. Sometimes it sucks then it all turns to dust. Dyson electronics pioneer and vacuum cleaner aficionado, James Dyson, is setting up shop in Singapore to work on his new electronic car-making business–and is receiving some criticism in the process.

The serial entrepreneur and electronic appliance specialist publically backed the British Brexit vote but is now moving some of his operations to Asia instead of supporting British manufacturing.

Although the renowned inventor is taking some flack at the minute, his move from vacuum cleaners to electric cars is raising some proverbial eyebrows as well.

    Changing Times for James Dyson

As any entrepreneur will tell you, sometimes you have to do something completely different and move with the times to be successful. And James Dyson knows all about success.

He is stated as having a net worth of $5.3 billion by Forbes and is currently #321 on their rich list.

Dyson vacuum cleaners became a massive hit across the globe in the 1990s and changed the way we cleaned our mite-infested carpets without using a hoover bag.

Housewives and husbands across the planet rejoiced as the increase in suction allowed them to understand and appreciate the true meaning of a clean carpet.

Yet Dyson made the announcement last year that he would be moving into the design and construction of electric cars. And also moving his operations to Singapore.

    Increasing Popularity of Electric Cars

As the increasing popularity of electric cars rises year upon year as governments across the world scramble to phase out fossil fuel pollution, Dyson is now striving to become a player in an already competitive market. Just think Tesla Motors!

However, to become competitive amidst the current electric car market conditions, Dyson is setting up a plant in Singapore. Dyson’s chief executive Jim Rowan released a statement in regards to the Singapore move saying:

“The decision of where to make our car is complex, based on supply chains, access to markets and the availability of the expertise that will help us achieve our ambitions. Our existing footprint and team in Singapore, combined with the nation’s significant advanced manufacturing expertise, made it a frontrunner. Singapore also offers access to high-growth markets as well as an extensive supply chain and a highly-skilled workforce.”

Although James Dyson is currently receiving massive amounts of criticism back in the UK for backing the Brexit vote to leave the European Union and then opening the new plant in Singapore, he already has factories in Malaysia.

Dyson currently employs 12,000 people across the planet with 4,800 of them in Britain. James Dyson’s critics will simply have to suck it up and ask themselves how many people they employ in the UK.

Deathly screams are ringing out today as news of the new Fortnite Halloween update aptly named ‘Fortnitemares’ has just been launched. If it’s scary how immensely-popular the game already was with gamers of all ages, the ghoulish new update will frighten you to death.

The Fortnite Halloween update was released on Wednesday and will be a limited-time feature that is offering new spooky challenges, wicked weaponry and ghostly new outfits that will suck the blood from your already-decrepit corpse.

Hellish Fun with the Fortnite Halloween Update

The Fortnite world is buzzing this week as Fortnitemares makes a return to a game console near you. Fortnitemares first aired last October for Halloween and is back bigger, better and bloodier than ever before.

The Fortnite Halloween update has some really cool features such as cube fragments from the “Fortnite: Battle Royal” spawning into cube monsters that offer loot features such as extra shields when you kill a monster. You can unlock some unique and exclusive Halloween content when destroying the cube monsters.

    New Deadfire Fortnite Skin Outfit

If you’re a Fortnite skin collector, the most desirable new feature on the Fortnite Halloween update will be the new Deadfire skin which will apparently shift appearance during mid-March depending on your performance on the game.

If you build up lots of damages and survives from your battle royals, the Deadfire skin will change to a scary specter phantom.

If you’re the sort of person who likes to obliterate your competition to smithereens, other earth-shattering weaponry available via the update are the six-shooter high caliber pistol, a crossbow, and the pumpkin launcher.

Updates to ‘Fortnite: Save the World’

The new Fortnite Halloween update will also include additions to the paid mode of the game, ‘Fortnite: Save the World’. Paid players will be happy to see the return of Hexsylvania from last year’s Fortnitemares, which is a special zone that has a new set of Vlad Moon Rising objectives.

The upgrade to the paid version of Fortnite will also have a new narrative that is different from last year’s version and seven event-specific heroes from the 2017 Fortnitemares game.

The “Save the World” version is also now on offer with a 50% discount until November 6 if you don’t already have the campaign mode.

The new Fortnite Halloween update won’t be around for long, so make sure you get on there now or you might wake up to a chorus of zombie flesh eaters.
