  • UK Man Makes #FraudBae Song to Celebrate Stealing His Ex-Girl’s Money

UK Man Makes #FraudBae Song to Celebrate Stealing His Ex-Girl’s Money

In a shocking fraud attempt that can only be described as despicable, UK man Michael Fehsenfeld not only stole money from his girlfriend to fund a trip to Paris with another gal but also made a song about it on YouTube called #FraudBae.

The song had gained approximately 68,000 views on YouTube over the past few days but has now been flagged and removed for copyright violations. The only place you can now hear the song is on reaction videos from other YouTubers.

    What’s the Lowdown?

When 29-year-old London-native Angel Exford went to the police to inform them that her former boyfriend Michael Fehsenfeld had audaciously stolen her money to take his new woman to Paris for a romantic getaway, little did he know he would be apprehended at the airport.

When breaking down the facts, the word ‘stolen’ is probably harsh but fair. But the word fraud is definitely closer to the truth.

Exford claims to have given then-boyfriend Fehsenfeld her bank card to pay a bill when they were out drinking, which he then claimed to have lost along with his wallet. However, the night after, she caught him on Snapchat out on the town even though he was supposedly penniless and proceeded to break-up with him.

A month later, everything escalated out of control. Exford noticed that $1,300 had been spent from her card on plane tickets, flowers, and hotels.

Exford’s friends, along with the police, surprisingly turned up at Gatwick Airport on October 5 to face Fehsenfeld about the allegations. Fehsenfeld was arrested and charged with fraud and received a 26-week suspended sentence and was given 150-hours of community service.

    The Making of #FraudBae

Any decent human being would’ve fallen to their knees to repent their sins and offer total contrition for their scandalous acts. Is that what Michael Fehsenfeld did? Hell no! He made a rap song called #FraudBae on YouTube to brag about his fraudulent activities.

During the original case, Angel Exford, who is also a dental hygienist, used the tag #FraudBae to shame her ex-boyfriend. However, her ex-bae then used the hashtag against her in snide fashion as the name for the song.

It really is a despicable way of conducting yourself, but when you see the video, you can’t help but laugh at the scoundrel’s audacity. And he has decent mic skills to be fair.

But it’s difficult to praise someone who steals from another person, no matter how solid the bars he spits. Karma will no doubt catch up to Fehsenfeld. The universe has a funny way of straightening things out.

  • The Battle for YouTube Supremacy – PewDiePie vs T-Series

The Battle for YouTube Supremacy – PewDiePie vs T-Series

There’s a new race going on online as we speak. The Indian music label T-Series is close to becoming YouTube’s new king, after five years of the most-subscribed/to channel being PewDiePie (Felix Kjellberg from Sweden).

This year alone, the Indian music company has earned an absolute record of 40.3 million subscribers, reaching 67.9 million subscribers in total. This epic growth brought the account to just 200,000 followers less than YouTube’s most popular channel.

And the difference has been growing in the last few days, as Kjellberg’s fans started to get involved in the race. PewDiePie has 68.5 million followers.

T-Series Grows 4 Times Faster than PewDiePie

T-Series is India’s largest online entertainer. The company reached a significant milestone last year when it became the first to reach 14 billion views on YouTube, making it the most viewed channel of all times, registering over 51 billion views so far.

In this past year, the Indian music label grew four times faster than the Swedish influencer.

The Bollywood music label and film production company uses its YouTube channel to promote its music videos and film trailers. The content has brought an average of 90,000 subscribers a day (the amount that PewDiePie gets in a month).

The growing number of subscribers is good for business in more ways than one. Besides the popularity, T-Series has earned more than $100 million from YouTube.

The performance registered by the music label is mostly generated by India’s fast-growing online population. The country is now the world’s hottest mobile market, with over 500 million internet users.

PewDiePie’s Fans Not Ready to Quit the Fight

While the Swedish owner of PewDiePie doesn’t seem to care that much about T-Series’ expansion, the same can’t be said for his fans. According to the Independent, followers are using desperate methods to keep a significant difference between the two YouTube channels.

However, the Swedish influencer has stated that he doesn’t care about being knocked off the top spot. This would be, in his vision, the result of YouTube not supporting independent creators anymore.

Felix Kjellberg started his YouTube channel by posting videos in which he used to comment on video games. Lately, he switched to more general entertainment content.

Despite being accused of racism, he has owned the most-subscribed/to YouTube channel since 2013. Thanks to the recent efforts of his fans, PewDiePie has now a consistent lead of over 600,000 subscribers over T-Series.

In 2017, Kjellberg made $12 million thanks to his YouTube videos, according to Forbes.

  • Canadian Rapper Jon James Dies Falling from Airplane Wing

Canadian Rapper Jon James Dies Falling from Airplane Wing

Canadian rapper Jon James was well-known by his fans for his adventurous stunts which he shared with them on his YouTube channel. But the 34-year-old internet star tried one stunt too many on Saturday, falling to his death after trying to stand on an airplane wing while filming his music video.

According to reports, the Hip Hop star stepped out onto the wing of the small aircraft in preparation to take the shot. But the light Cessna plane failed to support his weight and entered into a downward spiral that the pilot was unable to control and that caused Jon James to fall to his death.

Sadly, the artist continued to cling to the wing of the plane for too long for his parachute to open in time. In a statement to the Canadian news outlet Global News, Jon James’ manager Ryan Desrochers said:

“Jon held onto the wing until it was too late, and by the time he let go, he didn’t have time to pull his chute. He impacted and died instantly.”

While the rapper had trained extensively for the stunt beforehand, no one had envisioned the Cessna plane being caught off balance by his presence on the wing. After Jon fell, the pilot was able to correct the downward spiral, fortunately, saving the lives of those on board the aircraft. The rest of the crew and the pilot landed safely.

Celebrating the Life of Jon James

Fans of the artist set up a GoFundMe page on Monday to help raise enough money to ensure that the rapper’s work reaches the level of fame it deserves and to help celebrate the life of the young rapper tragically cut short doing what he loved. According to the GoFundMe page:

“He touched and lifted so many people in his brief stay here… He also documented everything he did relentlessly. His close friends and family want to make something incredible with what fee [Jon James] left us. It’s what he would have wanted most of all.”

The rapper Jon James McMurray was also known as McFee. May he rest in peace.

  • Global Lego Community Rally To Raise Funds For Stolen Collection

Global Lego Community Rally To Raise Funds For Stolen Collection

The Lego community is a funny bunch. It’s rather like Star Trek. You either get it or you don’t. As a child, you were probably one of three kids. The one who preferred video games over putting plastic blocks together. The one who leaped with excitement at the thought of ripping open the latest box and building something cool. Or the one who handled the package and its contents like gold, appreciating its worth. If you were kid number three, you’re probably making a lot of money by now.

But regardless of your intentions with your Lego, the construction toy dating back to 1934 still draws a massive–and it seems–caring community. Yes, grown adults playing with plastic toys is a bit weird. But it turns out there are whole videos on YouTube of avid Lego fans dedicated to showing off their creations. And they rack up millions of views.

So when Lego enthusiast and master creationist French model builder Louis came home to find his entire collection of 14 years stolen by opportunist thieves, the Lego community rallied.

You don’t have to be a Lego fan to get choked up watching the YouTube video with over 800,000 views in which a broken man displays an empty room where his creations used to be.

In a heartfelt and emotional recording that he shared with fans (yes, he had a Lego building YouTube channel based around the Star Wars theme–with a massive following) he said that it was not only his Lego pieces worth tens of thousands of dollars but his entire “childhood” that had been stolen. Ouch.

    Lego Community to the Rescue

Luckily for the distraught Frenchman, the Lego community comes together in times of crisis, immediately setting up a Gofundme page to help Louis rebuild his collection. We may be desensitized to the war in Siria or earthquakes in Asia. But, the thought of losing plastic building blocks is simply too much for many of us to stand.

Louis said the thieves clearly knew what they were looking for, as they ignored other items of value, such as computers and watches, heading straight for his “Lego Room.”

He speaks of the horror of arriving home to a trail of bricks as he bounded up the stairs expecting the worst.

Louis posted a picture on his Twitter, simply saying “Bonne nuit” (goodnight).

Lego fans across the world were left shaking in distress. What if it had been their own collection? Their Star Wars models that had been vandalized or kidnapped or their childhood ripped away? The Gofundme campaign soon started blowing up and had already raised around $15,000 by Sunday evening, leading to Louis closing the campaign.

He didn’t want to make money out of his loss. After all, many of these pieces money simply couldn’t buy. So, he closed the campaign and thanked everyone who contributed, promising to spend all the funds on a new LEGO adventure. Many donors also offered words of solace at this difficult time. “The people who did it are monsters,” one donor said.
